We've been getting lots of questions about beach access and where guests can enjoy a beautiful beach day. Well, on the official first day of summer, we have some exciting news... the answer is right here on our property! 😎

These photos were taken THIS MORNING, and Mother Nature seems to be celebrating summer right along with us. Even before beach nourishment begins, a lovely stretch of beach is already forming, and our guests have been out there enjoying it! 🌞

It's incredible to see the shoreline making a comeback, and this is just the beginning. With nourishment on the way and nature already giving us a head start, we're watching our beach return day by day. 💙

We couldn't be more excited to share this update with our Lighthouse View family. The beach is coming back, summer is officially here, and the future is looking bright! 🙌

🌊 World Ocean Day 🌊

Today we celebrate the ocean that makes Hatteras Island such a special place to visit, explore, and enjoy.

From sunrise surf fishing to evening walks along the shoreline, the Atlantic Ocean is at the heart of so many unforgettable memories here on the Outer Banks. It provides adventure, beauty, and a way of life that we are proud to share with our guests every day.

This World Ocean Day, we encourage everyone to help protect our coastal waters by leaving only footprints, respecting marine wildlife, and doing their part to keep our beaches clean for future generations.

Lately, we've seen a rise in conversations where frustration outweighs kindness.

We understand that travel plans, policies, weather, and unexpected changes can be stressful. But behind every phone call, email, and message is a real person.

Many of our employees are not only helping guests navigate challenges, they're also navigating challenges of their own. They're members of this community who care deeply about this place and the people who visit it. Being frustrated is understandable. Asking tough questions is okay. But speaking to others with patience and respect will always go further than anger, bullying, or belittling.

The truth is simple: kindness costs nothing, but it means everything.

While we've faced challenges, we're also looking ahead with hope. Beach nourishment is on the way, bringing with it the promise of a wide, beautiful beach for everyone to enjoy once again. We are excited for the future of our shoreline and our community.

To the countless guests who have shown understanding, grace, and compassion, thank you. Your kindness never goes unnoticed, and it reminds us why we love what we do.
