Well it is Official, the lot the Chief was on has sold. I will be renting the cabins again in the near future. For all of you that were customers at the Chief, there were enough good times and stories to last 3 lifetimes.

This last year has been an emotion one for myself and my sister ,Laura. The last two months have given me a chance to reflect on the last 26 years. Cable has not only been my home for the last 26 years but has been a big part of my life for the last 47 years and will continue to be a place I love and will visit often. However, after 26 years of the living and working at the Namakagon Chief, I think it is time to start a new chapter in my life. I am not going to rebuild, but will continue to rent the Chief Cabins for the summer of 2016 and possibly longer. As many of you know, I was planning to move to Neenah, WI this winter. My thought right now is that I will stay there and make Neenah my new home base with frequent trips to Cable. Laura and her family will still spend most of the summer on Lake Owen and Josie and I will be frequent visitors. Thank you so much for all of the love and support you have shown me.
