Fall is putting on quite a show here in Cadillac, Michigan!

We’re getting close to peak color, and there’s still time to get away for a few days and enjoy it.

Spend the day exploring Northern Michigan. Take a scenic drive, or ride the ORV trails, then head back to Mackinaw Timbers Cabins, get a fire going, and enjoy a cool October evening.

Sometimes you don’t need to plan a trip months in advance. You just need to pack a bag and go.

Every group has one....That person who's awake before everybody else.

Coffee brewing. Cabin door cracked open. Cool autumn air coming in. The rest of the crew still asleep after yesterday's adventure.

For a few minutes, Mackinaw Timbers Cabins is completely quiet.

Then somebody else wakes up. And then another day of exploring Cadillac, Michigan begins.

September doesn't mean you're done with the lake.

Rent a pontoon. Pack the cooler. Bring the fishing poles. Stay out a little longer than you planned because nobody really wants to call it a day yet.

Then head back to Mackinaw Timbers Cabins in Cadillac, Michigan.

Dinner on the grill. Sweatshirts around the fire. Maybe a fish story or two.

A day on the water and a night at the cabins.

It starts with, "You should have seen what happened today…"

By the third time the story gets told, the hill was steeper, the mud was deeper, and everybody was going a little faster.
That's half the fun of an ORV weekend.
Ride all day around Cadillac, Michigan. Come back to Mackinaw Timbers Cabins, grab something cold, pull up a chair, and hear everybody's version of what happened.
The ride gives you the story.

Pull into Mackinaw Timbers Cabins. Find your cabin. Unload the ORVs.
And that's the last time you should have to mess with the trailer until it's time to go home.

Unload Once and Ride.

Spend the day exploring the trails around Cadillac, Michigan.
Come back dusty, rinse off at the ORV wash station, and figure out who's grilling dinner.

By the time the fire gets going, somebody will already be telling the story about what happened on the trail. Probably with a few details added.
