Stories From the Brick 🕰️
When the Inn Gets Quiet
Old buildings sound different after the rain.
The floors creak a little softer. The lamps glow a little warmer. And the stillness settles into the walls like it has been there for generations.
After weeks of steady rain, the Inn has felt especially quiet lately, the kind of quiet that invites you to slow down, pour another cup of coffee, and stay awhile.
There is something comforting about slower days here. Fresh rain on the porch rails. Soft light filling the hallways. A warm cup of coffee waiting downstairs. The sound of rainwater dripping from the trees while the Inn settles in for the evening.
For over a century, these walls have weathered countless storms, welcoming travelers inside for warmth, rest, and shelter from the road.
And on quiet days like these, it feels like the Inn remembers every story.
Some things have not changed all that much. ✨
Stay tuned we are back each Saturday morning as we continue sharing more Stories From the Brick.
