🍽️ Eat Your Way Along the Appalachian Byway of Ohio! 🚗Two delicious stops along the Appalachian Byway of Ohio are getting statewide attention—both landing on Ohio Magazine’s list of “9 Great Food Finds in Ohio’s Appalachian Region.”

🟡 Golden Plaza | Belle Valley (Noble County)
A true local landmark, Golden Plaza was recognized for its crispy‑on‑the‑outside, juicy‑on‑the‑inside broasted chicken, described by Ohio Magazine as a must‑try. Noble County pride at its finest!

🔵 Blue Bell Diner | McConnelsville (Morgan County)
With more than 50 years of history, Blue Bell Diner blends nostalgia with a fresh, modern touch. Standouts include house‑made sausage gravy and biscuits, Belgian waffles, slightly sweet house‑made chili, and a full coffee bar featuring locally sourced chocolate milk and house‑made caramel sweet cream foam.

Another restaurant on the list, Kindred Spirits in Logan is also about 20 miles west of the Byway from Nelsonville.

Whether you’re traveling for history, scenery, or great food, these Byway stops prove that Appalachian Ohio is serving up flavor worth the drive. 😋

From fried chicken to creative burgers to classic diner fare, check out these spots to grab a bite throughout Ohio’s Appalachian region.
