Memorial Day weekend is just one day away, and Calistoga is already easing into its summer rhythm, pools warm, gardens in full bloom, tasting rooms pouring something cold.

A few rooms are still open for the long weekend, and the offer's still on the table: 15% off published rates on two-night stays, 20% off on three nights. Add a spa treatment 45 minutes or longer, and we'll take 15% off that, too.

Trade the to-do list for a slow soak. Summer's officially open for business in Calistoga, and the valley is showing off. Warm rays, patios spilling onto Lincoln Avenue, geothermal pools doing what they've done for a hundred-plus years: pulling everyone in for a long, lazy soak.
