Good evening, campers, fishermen, and visitors!
First, we want to say how much we appreciate each and every one of you. Thank you for choosing to spend your time with us—we love seeing people enjoy the ponds and campground, so please keep coming back!
Just a few reminders and housekeeping items:
• Please pay camping upon arrival rather than at departure. It can be difficult for us to keep track of who has paid and who hasn’t.
• If you’re camping in a camper and also have tents set up, there is an additional camping fee for the tents as well as the camper fee. This policy applies to everyone.
• We also have a paddle boat and kayaks that are personal items for our family’s use. They are stored on the rack at the far east end. If you’d like to use them, please ask first and return them exactly as you found them.
Last weekend, someone took the paddle boat down to the west pond. I noticed it there on Thursday and decided to leave it so others could enjoy it. Today, it had been moved to the east pond, which wasn’t a big deal—but unfortunately, it’s now broken. It still pedals, but it no longer steers. We’re not sure yet whether it can be repaired.
We sure miss having our ranger, Cheryll, out on patrol! We don’t want to sound like nags because we understand that things happen, but we do ask everyone to be considerate and respectful so that these amenities can continue to be enjoyed by all.
Thank you again for your support, and we hope you continue making great memories here!
