Special thanks to the LDS congregations who participated in their big Day Of Service in June.
One of the projects completed was the fixing and painting of the old flag pole by the lodge. This flag pole had been out of service for at least 20 years and an amazing volunteer took this extra special, extra lengthy project on. It was finally re-raised this past week!
This weekend, girls from Girl Scout troop 21381 performed the first flag ceremony on this newly renovated pole and we're excited to see all the future groups use this historic and prominent flag pole!

We need your help! SPREAD THE WORD!!
We are still raising money for the replacement of our bridge in the middle of Camp Currie.

What better way to support this effort than to eat out on Thursday July 30th at the Old Spaghetti Factory?! (East Vancouver location only)

You can print out the flyer and bring it, you can snap a picture of the flyer and show it on your phone, you can use the code "CURRIE" when placing your online order, or you can simply tell your waiter that day that you're there for the Currie Fundraiser and your bill will be credited to our fundraiser.

RSVP for Camp Currie Clean-up day!
Our annual clean up day is one week away! Sunday May 17th from 10am -3pm.

Bring your favorite yard and cleaning tools (and gloves!) to tackle the winter blow down and spring overgrowth.

Extra handy tools: Lops
If you have a weed-wacker to bring, we could really use a couple people doing that task as well!

Tasks include:
clearing the roadside of brush
clearing the trails
emptying ash from fireplaces
washing lodge windows (please bring those cleaning products)
tackling blackberry thickets
hauling wood
