On Sept 12, 2014, Diane Thomson and Rich Chandler bought a 44 acre, 50 site campground that was struggling to survive. We have big plans for the place... what we are saying is "New name. Formerly known as Deer Creek Campground, we renamed it Glacier Valley Campground. We have a fantastic bank that we are partnering with (American Bank in Fond du Lac) and have quite a few ambitious plans for expansion. Stay tuned to our site as we continue to unveil events, facilities, and ideas!

💜 Survivors Weekend @ Glacier Valley Campground 💜

One of our most meaningful weekends of the year is coming up — Survivors Weekend.

Join us for a peaceful, beautiful, and supportive weekend as we come together to celebrate survivors, honor those we’ve lost, and stand beside those who are still fighting.

🎗️ Cancer survivors camp FREE!
🏕️ Cabins are available at 50% off for survivors.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family members, friends, and supporters are welcome — this event is open to the public!

💜 Help Us Give Back
This year, we are raising money for the Gilbert Brown Foundation, with proceeds benefiting cancer research organizations.

Throughout the weekend, we'll have:
🎟️ Silent Auction
💰 50/50 Raffle
🥩 Meat Raffle
🕯️ Luminary Lighting Ceremony

At the end of Saturday, we will light our luminary bags together — celebrating our victories, remembering those we’ve lost, and standing strong with those who are actively fighting cancer.

We are looking for donations of silent auction items, gift baskets, and other items to help us raise money for this important cause.

NEW THIS YEAR: You can sponsor a campsite for one night or the entire weekend. Your business will be proudly recognized with advertising at the campsite you sponsor as we thank you for helping us create a special retreat for those whose lives have been touched by cancer.

**Water update!!** Water is on at the campground. There may be some residual sediment noticed. It should clear in a few hours, generally, or after a little water runs through a camper. Thank you all for your patience and understanding!!
