My beautiful Robbie celebrates another Birthday today!
One thing that she has always loved is music! Whether it was The Macarena blaring from her first Boombox, (which by the way, was larger than a microwave) or singing while dancing in a moving car to the B52s' Love Shack - she has always enjoyed a wide range of music! On one thing we can definitely agree - Stevie Nicks is the Goddess of Rock 'n Roll.

Like the Goddess sings "You are the poet in my Heart. Never change. Never Stop."
And in the words of Van Morrison, "You're my Brown-Eyed Girl"

The blessed Christmas season officially kicked off at Pleasant Ridge on Sunday afternoon. Thank you to our friends and family that stopped by for an Antebellum Christmas. Camden and the sweet community of Canton Bend have made us feel right at home and what a joy to see as our long time friends connected with our new friends!

Abi, Jeffrey and Shelley, thank you, thank you, thank you. Whit, we were especially happy to have you...you honored us both.

This little fellow was wandering through the woods yesterday and found Scottie on the job site. No collar or tag, but clearly someone's sweet puppy. We want to get him to his rightful owner. Please share this post so his worried Mom and Dad can bring him back home.

UPDATE: Chico has been claimed!. His Mama picked him up this evening....a happy reunion indeed!

Do you know this sweet girl? She turned up at Pleasant Ridge earlier today, quite happy, well-fed and with a collar, but no owner information. She is safe, but I'm sure she'd rather be with her own humans. Call our landline 334-682-9569

Pleasant Ridge needs to move this mahogany wardrobe in order to make room for a different wardrobe. Clean lines and handsome burl woodgrain on the doors. Colonel Myers added more shelves inside so it served as a more functional piece of furniture for me....acted more like a supply closet. The original clothes rod still remains on the left side if you need to hang garments.

Thirty years ago today my Sugar Bean stepped into the world and what a ride it has been! To watch her transformation into womanhood has been amazing.
