We purchased Blue Harbor House Inn on April 1st not fully knowing what to expect. We knew our early guests would become part of our story. We didn’t know how much.

Every single guest has brought something with them — a conversation at breakfast, a recommendation that became our new favorite restaurant, a reason to love this place even more than the day before.

In just a few months, our guests have convinced Lauren that she would love cross-country skiing, thanked us for bringing light into a dark time, celebrated anniversaries and pregnancies with us, laughed together at happy hour, and shared stories of loss and purpose that reminded us why moments like these matter. Strangers who left as friends.

To everyone who has stayed with us — thank you. You are not just guests. You are the reason this leap was worth it.

It’s so easy to fall in love with ME. (Maine, obviously.)

We chartered the Cutter Owl with Captain Matt recently — foggy morning, kids helping with sails and steering, picnic on the water. By the end the sun broke through to reveal a sailing race, Camden Harbor, and Mount Battie and Megunticook in the distance. Quintessential coastal Maine.

You too can enjoy a private Owl charter or simply join as a passenger on it or the various sailboats that launch from Camden harbor. Add it to your reservation or reach out and we’ll make it happen.
