Dave's Hideaway

09/15/2026

A new chapter is coming to the Hideaway! 🌲

When we reopen soon, Dave’s Hideaway will officially become The Hideaway Lodge!

As we’ve worked on plans for the property, it was important to us to recognize the many years of hard work and care that Dave put into creating this place. We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity he has given us to take what he built, breathe some new life into it, and carry it forward into its next chapter.

That’s exactly why “Hideaway” is staying. ❤️

We’re busy behind the scenes making updates, adding some personality, and creating a fresh new experience — while keeping the relaxed, welcoming spirit that has made this place a Hideaway for so many years.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone to The Hideaway Lodge at Lake of the Ozarks very soon!

Same Hideaway. Fresh new chapter. Lots more to come. 🌲☀️

Stay tuned — we’re just getting started!

Happy Independence Day! Thank you to everyone who has reached out to ask if we are re-open yet. We are not re-open just yet, but we are working with the City of Camdenton to meet all of their requirements for us to open soon. Stay tuned and we will be certain to let everyone know when we are back open and taking reservations. Have a great weekend!

Ok this is a day everyone has been waiting for! The new owners have been working diligently trying to get everything ready for their opening. They were trying hard for Memorial weekend but due to unforseen circumstances they are looking at opening on June 12th! They will have the phone situation worked out by then & be ready for business! If they get the technical issues on the phone worked out before then we will post it here so everyone can go ahead & make your reservations.
We want to thank everyone for their patience as we get everything ready for the opening. Look for alot of great changes in the future including a slight name change. As always we want to thank our loyal customers for staying with us.

Ok I've been getting flooded with requests about being able to make reservations! I'm working diligently on trying to get all this worked out & see how this season is going to work out for the motel. Have some patience with me & let's see how the next couple of weeks plays out. I know it's needed & we are working towards making that happen! Thank you all for your patience!
