Hello! Are you ready to add vintage and vibrant energy to your summer?

Join us at the Blue Moon Saloon for an evening of classic 1930s/40s Lindy Hop swing dancing! And did I mention FREE LESSON?!?!

Whether you have two left feet or you’re a seasoned dancer, this night is built for everyone. (Note: This is classic Big Band/East Coast swing—not western swing or two-step!).

SCHEDULE:
7:30 PM – 8:00 PM: FREE Introductory Lindy Hop Lesson! Taught by Bryan Scherrer, instructor from the Downbeat Vintage Swing Society (who hosts the popular Thursday night lessons at La Brasserie in Bozeman).
8:00 PM – to Close: Open social dancing! Show off what you learned, grab a drink, and enjoy the rhythm.

ENTRY:
It is completely free! The Blue Moon Saloon is providing dance floor space. The saloon will be open and available as well as a mini menu (think appetizers, small bites).
Please note: There will be a voluntary donation bucket purely to help cover Bryan’s gas money for driving over from Bozeman to provide lessons! 🤍

Blue Moon Saloon and restaurant open for the season on Tuesday May 5, 2026. We will be open for dinner service from 4pm-8pm. The following week will have interruptions as we have a kitchen project being completed on May 12 & 13th. After that we will resume the Tues - Fri schedule.
We are opening Tuesday, May 5th with our special menu for Cinco de Mayo. Come.for a great selection of Mexican dishes, Margaritas and Cervesas. Our early season menu starts Wed May 6th with all of the menu favorites and a daily special.

Thankful for all our customers (local and visiting) in 2025. This year saw 38 countries stay here in lodging. 😲 many whom we got to know a little better in the restaurant/saloon as well. It was a great year of connecting with local friends and customers and even meeting new ones moving to the area or just coming in for the first time.
Had some wonderful things for people to see in this beautiful area too.

The restaurant and saloon are now closed for the season. We have one more week of hunting season and therefore availability in the cabins and RV campground are still open one more week.

After that, we will see y'all in the spring next year! We will be aiming for an April opening.

Wishing everyone a joyous and blessed Thanksgiving, Christmas and holiday season!
Take some time for a little rest this winter! I know we will! 😁

Today is the day! Oktoberfest at Blue Moon Saloon! Special German fare menu served 4-8pm (or until we run out!)
Come enjoy German beers, liqueurs (or whatever you like to drink!) and soft pretzels with beer-cheese dip, brats, jagerschnitzel, rouladen and black forest cake! Stay for the stein hoist competition around 7/7:30pm. PROST!!!

Come out to Blue Moon Saloon this Saturday, May 3rd: 4-8pm for a Cinco de Mayo celebration! (Yes, we realize that's really Tres de Mayo, but who really wants to party on Monday!) We will be serving shredded beef enchiladas, chile-stewed country-style pork ribs, chile verde (green chile stewed pork), carne asada (marinaded steak) and 3 types of tacos: carnitas (roasted pork), carne asada and borrachos (bacon, chorizo and shrimp). Not sure which to have? Order the Tour of Mexico Sampler - choose 2 different tacos, with smaller portions of enchilada, chile verde, steak and chile! Did I mention dessert? How about a churro sundae, vanilla ice cream with cinnamon-sugar churro and caramel or chocolate drizzle? Our special drinks will be traditional sangria (not just wine with fruit juice), Montana huckleberry margarita, or a traditional margarita. Our regular menu items will not be available that night. Let's kick off Spring with a little, cross-cultural fun! ¡Salud!

You know it's spring when the wildlife are close! Blue Moon Saloon as enjoyed neighborly views of moose, pronghorn and elk in the last couple days.

Blue Moon Saloon is reopening next week, Thursday, April 3! Our first week back, we will be open on Thursday and Friday nights. Kitchen will be open 4-8pm. Bar goes later if customers are present.
We are expecting our seasonal help to arrive in April, so as customer flow increases we will be adding additional service nights. We are so looking forward to seeing all of our friends and customers again. Hope to see you soon at Blue Moon Saloon to celebrate the arrival of Spring with us!
