Did you know that some of the earliest hunting vehicles used at Riverview Plantation were surplus military Jeeps from World War II? 🛻

These vehicles were later adapted for use in the field, much like the Jeeps used today, improving comfort, safety, and reliability across the plantation. In this image, a firearm carrier originally designed for an M1 rifle was modified to carry a shotgun and mounted to the fender.

The hunting season has come to a close, but the work at Riverview continues.

Throughout the year, our team focuses on maintaining and preserving the land through controlled burns, planting, and cutting lanes across the plantation. These efforts support the health of the fields, woodlands, and wildlife, ensuring each season is as strong as the last. 🌾
