Roxanna

Roxanna is a beautiful, primitive, highly spiritual camping site. It is a truly magical place, that has been loved by many over the years.

Roxanna, near Auburn, Alabama is a beautiful, raw piece of land, with woods, a few clearings, and huge expanses of exposed bedrock. The site is being cared for and upgraded, and currently has basic electricity, running water, and hot showers. There is plenty of room for camping, and parking space for 75-100 people. Roxanna is very secluded and private, yet within a 30 mile drive of civilization.

Roxanna has a new addition! "The Cottage," which can be rented as a weekend getaway. Right now it has power and furniture, plus a fridge, microwave, hot plate, and window-unit AC. Over the next few months, it'll have a sink, running water, and a composting toilet, plus insulation and finished walls. It is available now for overnight rental, $65/night for up to two people ($15/person for any extra). The price will increase as more improvements are made. To rent, contact me; a 50% non-refundable deposit will be required to hold your reservation. This is NOT an AirBnB - it will only be rented to I know and trust (or someone who is vetted and vouched for)! Also, renting The Cottage is not the same as renting the entire site (others may be camping), and rental of the site does not include The Cottage. More info: www.roxannaland.org/cottage.shtml
