We wanted to share a quick update from Lake Creek Lodge.

While we’re currently under a Level 1 (Be Ready) evacuation notice due to the Akawa Butte Fire, everyone at the lodge is safe, we’ve had very minimal smoke, and our team is fully prepared should conditions change.

We’re feeling optimistic but remain vigilant as we continue to monitor the situation.

A huge thank you to the incredible firefighters and first responders working so hard to protect our communities. We’re also grateful to our wonderful guests who have continued to stay with us and for all the kind messages of support we’ve received.

We’re taking it one day at a time and hope to continue welcoming guests to our little slice of paradise. ❤️

Sisters Quilt show is on!

Be sure to stop by the lodge and check out this beautiful Portrait of Mount Hood quilt.

Quilted by Kathy Loveless, it was inspired by the huge wool quilt hanging in the Pendleton Woolen Mill store in Milwaukee, OR. Their quilt was based on the Mt. Hood graphic found on their vintage shirt boxes.

Happy Earth Day from all of us at Lake Creek Lodge 🌎💚

Spring has brought the property to life in the most magical ways. The creek is flowing strong, and our resident geese are out and about with their new goslings in tow. Birdhouses around the grounds are filling up with new families, and everywhere you look, there’s something to discover—songbirds in the trees, deer passing quietly through the meadow, and the gentle signs of nature waking up after winter.

Days like today remind us how special this place truly is. We’re grateful to be stewards of this little corner of the world and to share it with the incredible wildlife that calls it home.

Spring is a season of renewal at Lake Creek Lodge, and we’ve been busy behind the scenes making everything even more beautiful for the months ahead. 🌿

Cabin 3 is getting a fresh coat of paint, and we’ve added new headboards throughout the cabin for a cozy, updated feel. We’re also excited about our brand-new bathroom facility designed with wedding guests in mind—making celebrations here even more comfortable and seamless.

One of our favorite additions is the stunning new arbor leading into Roblay’s Garden. It’s already a special spot, and with just a few finishing touches, it will be ready to welcome unforgettable moments.

We can’t wait to share it all with you as the property comes to life this spring. 💚
