We are saddened to announce that the Safari Village, on the property of Out of Africa, is closing.

As the glamping industry continues to grow, towns and cities are navigating the waters on how to properly regulate them. Some cities lean in to develop regulations which support growth and tourism, and others are increasing regulations which force out glamping and new ways to experience local markets. Unfortunately, for the Safari Village, we do not have the ability to implement the changes required by the Town of Camp Verde.

It is because of guests, friends, and partners like you that we have had an amazing 1.5 years of glamping! The lions, the sun, and the amazing Verde Valley has been a blast to explore. We are grateful for our partnership with Out of Africa. We hope you will continue to visit their amazing wildlife park.

As we continue forward, we’re excited about our van rentals that allow you to take your adventure on the road! We’re not stopping there though, stay tuned to hear about future camp locations and ways to explore Arizona!
