Happy Spring!

The 2026 camping season is right around the corner, and we’re excited to share our special events and theme weekends with you!
Be sure to check out our activities page for a full weekly schedule! We’ve added lots of new activities this year, so there’s truly something for everyone to enjoy.

We’re especially thrilled to kick off the season with our newly fixed and heated pool! The updates made such a difference last fall, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back for another season of relaxing days at the pool this year!

It’s shaping up to be an amazing summer and we can’t wait to see you here!

Our store is being stocked with everything you might need for the perfect camping trip! From essentials to extras, we’ve got you covered—including all you need to enjoy a mile and a half of tubing right along the campground’s edge.

Meanwhile, our activities staff is hard at work filling the game shelves, stocking the craft closet, and loading up the prize counter.

Our team is getting everything ready for nonstop fun!

We want to send out a huge congratulations to Charles Kuizinas of Cosmic Moose Art on being featured on NH Chronicles!

About a decade ago, we had a dream of creating custom merchandise that truly captured the spirit of the campground—but we hadn’t quite found it yet. Then one Sunday morning, a genuinely kind guy stopped by the store to thank us for a great weekend. As a gift, he offered one of his prints. As we flipped through his work, we instantly knew: this was the vibe we’d been searching for.

Since that moment, it’s become an annual tradition for Charlie to create a piece inspired by an experience at the campground, and every year he absolutely nails it. Beyond being an incredibly talented artist, he’s also an amazing human—and that makes the collaboration even more special.

And we can’t forget to shout out Alison Joyce , the other half of Cosmic Moose. Everything she does behind the scenes makes it possible for Charlie to do what he does best.

Success couldn’t happen to a more deserving team.

The Pool is OPEN!

We are beyond excited to finally share the news, our pool is officially open and ready for you to dive in! First, a huge shoutout goes to Aquatime Pools. After years of chasing down issues, countless tests and repairs that went nowhere, and even being ghosted by other companies, Aquatime came in and saved the day. They ran thorough tests, explained everything clearly, and gave us a solid plan. Through bank mergers, SBA hoops, and a mountain of red tape, they stuck with us and delivered. Once on-site, they were efficient, professional, and absolutely outstanding. We couldn’t be more impressed! It’s nice to finally have a pool company we can rely on!

As much as we appreciate Aquatime, our biggest thanks goes to you, our guests. There were moments during this journey when we honestly didn’t know if we’d make it through. As a small family business, we don’t have the same resources as bigger corporate campgrounds, and there were times when sharing updates was tough. Yet, time after time, your kindness, understanding, and encouragement lifted us up. We can’t put into words how much that support has meant. So, thank you. Truly.

Now it’s your turn to splash, float, and make the best memories in our newly repaired pool. We will keep it open as long as the weather allows. We are hoping for some warm fall weeks ahead.

One small note: landscaping work will continue into the fall, so please watch your step in the pool area. The deck edge is roped off to outline where there is a step down.

Pool Update – We’re Almost There!

After 3 years, 4 pool companies, a bank merger, and more rounds of red tape than we care to count, plus pauses, delays, mountains of paperwork, and additional surprise pipe damage. We are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!

Water delivery is scheduled, and the final installation of the water features is just ahead. We now have a timeline for reopening, and it’s approaching fast. While we can’t give you an exact date (we’ve learned that even the best-laid plans can take a detour), we can say that it’s happening very soon. Our plan is to open the pool the moment that it’s safe, even if that means initially opening without water features & around the final installations.

When it’s ready, we’ll announce it on Facebook, pull down that dreaded “pool closed” banner from our website, and finally welcome you back for a splash! The area around the deck and landscaping will get some TLC this fall as we’re not taking any chances on delaying reopening now.

Pool & Project Update

After more than 20 years of reliable use, our pool has been a favorite summer spot for countless families and we’re dedicated to ensuring it stays that way for years to come! In recent years, we’ve faced persistent challenges and worked with several pool companies in search of a lasting solution. We’re happy to share that the root of the issue, extensive underground pipe damage, has finally been identified.

Our current pool company is moving quickly and carefully to complete the repairs. While we initially aimed to reopen in July, setbacks and the discovery of additional damage have shifted our target into August. Once the work is done, the pool will be better than ever!

In the meantime, with the pool work in expert hands, our team has taken the opportunity to catch up on other important projects around the campground. They’ve addressed road and drainage issues, groomed trails, renovated the laundry room, replaced signage, created a new Borrow Center, added new baby swings and a cozy book area, built a new handicap-accessible ramp and seating area at the Rec Hall, and even constructed a brand-new stage for weekend entertainment.

There’s still plenty of fun to be had! The water slide and bounce house have been a huge hit with guests, and river tubing remains a favorite way to cool off. Our full activity schedule is packed with exciting options, and our themed weekends will continue through Columbus Day—including Prom, Glow Weekend, Country Fair, and Halloween.

We also plan to keep the pool open as late in the season as the weather will allow, so there’s still time ahead for poolside fun.

2025 updates

Happy Camping Season! The trees are finally turning green, the flowers are blooming & the roads are being worked on as we type this! We have such a great crew this year! They are catching us up on some projects, stocking the store and prepping the activities. It's going to be a really great season!

We've added an app this year that will give you all the information that you may want when here! It has our activities calendar with a reminder option, theme weekend dates, as well as information about the campground , local activities, attractions, restaurants services and so much more. We hope that you all check it out! It's easy & free to use. There will be a link at the bottom of this post to download it before you get here.

We know what everyone really wants to know about, the pool! We haven't been saying much publicly because we really don't like putting anything out there that we aren't sure is true & getting consistent concrete information through this process has been challenging. Still, we have pretty good news.

First, thank you! So many of you reached out last year to help. We received quite a few contacts & in August we finally found a company that diagnosed the problems ( there was actually more than one) and has stuck with us through the VERY long process.

We started the financing process last June, knowing that we were going to need it once we found the pool company. There was no question, for us, that it was going to need a lot of work. After our loan officer abruptly left at the end of the summer, we had to restart the process. It became clear that the work wasn't going to happen in the fall as planned. We got going again only to have it paused, again, for several months as our bank merged with another. That brought us into 2025, a new year needing all submitted paperwork to be updated.... bringing us into March.

We have been/ still are anxiously waiting for everything to be finalized. We really wanted to be able to come here and post start and end dates, but understandably, the pool company hasn't been able to provide those until we finalize things. We just appreciate that they have kept us on their spring schedule and are willing to get going ASAP.

What we can actually announce is still really good news. We know exactly what's wrong and how to fix it. We have a great company on board. We expect that we will finalize things next week & the pool will be fixed through the month of June. We were hoping for April, but sometimes things just aren't in our control. This process has taught us that several times over. We're still very hopeful that it will be ready to go for the 4th of July & really wish that we could guarantee it.

We will be setting up water slides for Memorial Day weekend and will leave them up throughout the pool work. We also, as always, have the best tubing! There's over a mile of river from one end of the campground to the other!

We truly appreciate everyone that has stuck with us through this process! We can't adequately thank everyone for their patience. It's almost over ( knock on wood) and we hope that you will find that it's been worth the wait!

To kick things off, we’re thrilled to share our annual artwork! This year, we teamed up with Charles Kuizinas of Cosmic Moose Art to create a design inspired by one of our favorite BBCG activities. And of course, he nailed it! Tie dye is a hit with everyone! Thanks to Tracings Graphics, Screenprinting, & Ad Specialty Items , we’re turning this awesome design into some cool shirts and hoodies. Keep an eye out for them in our camp store this summer!
