"This was a perfect location for our group of over 50 people. We did the ziplines and SXS adventures onsite, the underground Kayaking only 9 minutes away. They recommended a catering company who absolutely nailed it. Every one of our crew left with a grin on their face after several days of beautiful views, great accommodations and awesome activities. It won't let me put 10 stars or I would!"

Cutest, Friendliest Resort!

"This was my first visit and I loved this place so much! We stayed in the lodge (they also offer cabins). I loved the cozy decor of the lobby and guestroom. You feel like you're in a mountain cabin. The place is relatively small so you feel like you have individualized service.

The employees were so nice. The moment we checked, we were given a tour, showing us the communal kitchen that all guests can use (to cook, put your own food in the fridge, get ice, etc). The lodge has a giant wraparound porch with swings. The location is a bit off the beaten path so you will find plenty of solitude. I highly recommend Cliffview!"

Heading to the Red River Gorge to hike? One one of the area's biggest draws is its abundance of natural bridges/arches. Here are a few popular arch hikes in the area to get you started!

🥾 Double Arch, Star Gap Arch, and Arch of Triumph (moderate)
See three arches on this scenic 5.7 mile hike. Some of the trails are unmarked which can make it more difficult to navigate, so hike at your own risk and be sure to take safety precautions.

🥾 Natural Bridge (moderate)
Natural Bridge is considered a must-see while in the area. The original Natural Bridge hike offers scenic views from the top and bottom of Battleship Rock, but the steep incline makes it more challenging. This is one of many trails that can be found in Natural Bridge State Park.

🥾 Princess Arch (easy)
The hike to this arch is just 0.6 miles making it one of the area's most accessible hikes. Hikers can walk both over the arch and under it.

🥾 Whistling Arch (easy)
A 0.55 mile hike that takes you to Whistling Arch and offers impressive views of the Gorge.

🚨 🚨 While hiking can be a lot of fun, it can also be dangerous without proper preparation and supplies. Be sure to take safety precautions including, but not limited to, wearing appropriate attire and shoes, letting someone know where you'll be and when you expect to return, bringing along food and water, and researching trails ahead of time.
