We had so much fun with Stan Stanley when he came out to camp a week or two ago! Thank you so much for stopping and listening to our story! We are so fortunate to have the love and support of our community. Our campers really appreciate and enjoy the opportunity to spend a week in The Hills with us, and we appreciate YOU spreading the good word for us!

While Stan is correct (weve been here in the Bristol Hills for 90 years), we've actually been running 4-H camp for 100 now. We spent the first 10 years (1925-1935) renting land on Canandaigua Lake before moving to our current site in 1936!

Wanna take a flyover of Camp?

We had a group at camp this weekend, and one of the guests flew a drove overhead of camp! He has kindly shared this video with us so you can check it out for yourself!

The event was a hammock camping, event, so the hammocks you may see, are not typically part of the camp. That said, the event was super fun, and everyone loves hammocks, so maybe we think about setting up a hammock village for next summer?!? Who would be down for a super casual Hammock Village at camp for campers??

What an incredible Day of Caring at 4-H Camp Bristol Hills 💚

This week, more than 100 volunteers from across our region rolled up their sleeves and poured their time, energy, and heart into camp. In just a single day, projects that would normally take our small staff weeks to complete were transformed through teamwork, laughter, hard work, and plenty of sawdust, paint, and concrete.

Volunteer support like this is not just appreciated, it is essential. Every project completed helps us keep camp running strong while keeping the experience affordable and accessible for more families and youth. Your generosity directly helps create more campfires, more friendships, more confidence, and more unforgettable summer memories for kids.

To every volunteer, organizer, supporter, and partner who gave their time to camp last week: thank you. You helped build something bigger than projects. You helped build opportunity. 🌲🛠️☀️

Do you love cooking? Cooking is one of our most popular classes at Camp, and MacBeth will be back in the kitchen sharing some of her favorite recipes with campers! This will be MacBeth's third year on staff at 4-H Camp Bristol Hills! If you see her this summer, be sure to ask her about her amazing bottle collection!

🌲 Now Hiring: Camp Nurses! 🩺

Spend your summer making a difference at 4-H Camp! We are currently seeking qualified nurses to join our camp team and help keep our campers healthy, safe, and ready for adventure.

Applicants must:
• Hold an RN license or higher
• Be certified in First Aid and CPR
• Be at least 21 years of age

Benefits:
• Two scholarships for age eligible youth (or more, if the Nurse has more than two age-eligible children of their own) for each week worked
• Complete room and board
• $600 stipend per week

Chipper is back again this summer! She will be an Assistant Counselor this summer, and will take a big role in our sports classes. She will also be facilitating on the ropes course! Chipper carries an energetic charisma, and she's always got a listening ear for a camper. If you see Chipper at Camp this summer, be sure to say hello!

CLEAR YOUR CALENDARS! This Saturday from 2pm until 4pm,, we will be holding our next OPEN HOUSE for the public! We will be giving tours every half hour, and guests will have the opportunity to meet the staff, have a cup of coffee or punch, and check out what camp is all about!

No registration required, and the event is FREE. Come on out and take a look around!
