Fascinating Facts:

-The Blue Ridge Parkway measures 469 miles in length.
-Construction of the Blue Ridge Parkway started in 1935 under Franklin D. Roosevelt's administration, with numerous New Deal agencies contributing.
-The bulk of the construction was completed by 1966, except for a 7.7-mile stretch near Grandfather Mountain known as the Lynn Cove Viaduct, which was completed in 1987 after more than 52 years.
-Glenn Acres is located a mere 8.5 miles from the Parkway, via Pisgah Highway.
-Pisgah Highway was constructed by George Vanderbilt, the celebrated builder of the Biltmore House to access his Hunting Lodge close to Mount Pisgah.

Glenn Acres is nestled between two ridges…with creeks that flow throughout.
