Summer isn't officially over until 8:04 PM tonight, and we're soaking up every last minute of it! ☀️

As the sun sets over Sugar Mountain, we're saying goodbye to another beautiful summer filled with campfires, music, camping, and memories made under the stars.

But just because summer is ending doesn't mean camping season is over! 🍂 The cooler evenings, colorful leaves, and peaceful fall weekends are just around the corner.
Here's to one last summer sunset and all the beautiful autumn evenings still to come.

Looks like a good weekend for a little co****le at Sugar Mountain. 🌲

The boards are out, the horseshoe pits are ready, and we've got plenty of room to camp this weekend.

Grab some friends, bring your competitive side, and come spend a September weekend around the Mountain.

Tent and RV sites are available.

Sometimes a cabin, a campfire and a quiet evening in the woods are all you need. 🌲🔥
Sugar Mountain's rustic cabins give you a comfortable place to settle in while still enjoying the best parts of camping — evenings around the fire, peaceful surroundings and plenty of room to slow down for a while.

Our cabins accommodate everything from a quiet getaway for two to groups of up to eight, with shared campground facilities including our six-stall hot-water shower house nearby.

September is a great time to spend a night — or make a weekend of it — at Sugar Mountain.

🧲 A little friendly competition on the mountain.

The horseshoe pits are getting broken in at Sugar Mountain!

Whether you're tossing a few horseshoes, relaxing around a campfire, staying in one of our rustic cabins, or just enjoying some time under the trees, sometimes the best part of camping is having nowhere you need to be.

Camping season isn't over yet. Tent sites, RV/camper sites and rustic cabins are available this September.

Come spend a night — or make a weekend of it. 🌲🔥

🎬 The big screen is back!

A little wind and weather couldn't keep it down for long. We got the movie screen repaired and rehung on the Mountain Stage, so we're having a little movie night at Sugar Mountain tonight. 🌙🍿

If you're camping with us this weekend, grab a chair, get comfortable and enjoy a movie under the stars.

🪩🌲 THANK YOU FOR AN INCREDIBLE NIGHT AT THE FUNKTION! 🎶

What a Saturday night on the mountain!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to Sugar Mountain for The Funktion 2026 — whether you camped with us, danced all night, grabbed some food and drinks, or just came up to enjoy the music and the mountain.

🎧 DJ Ben Frazier got the evening started and set the groove for the night.

🔥 Count Blastula absolutely brought it to the Grove Stage! We heard a LOT of great things about their set throughout the night — they definitely made some new fans at Sugar Mountain.

🚀 Pocketship kept the night moving and took us even further into the funk.

🌲 And a very special thank you to High Pines — not only for closing out the night, but for being the hosts behind The Funktion and bringing this whole funky gathering back to Sugar Mountain for another year.

And of course, thank you to everyone behind the scenes who helped make the night happen. Events like this take a lot of people doing a lot of different things before, during and after the music stops.

We didn't manage to capture nearly enough photos Saturday night — apparently we were too busy enjoying the Funktion ourselves. 😂 — but here are a few shots from the Grove Stage once things were in full swing.

Thank you for spending your Saturday night with us at Sugar Mountain. We hope you had as much fun as we did. ❤️🌲

Until next time… keep it funky. 🪩🎶
