🎬 The big screen is back!

A little wind and weather couldn't keep it down for long. We got the movie screen repaired and rehung on the Mountain Stage, so we're having a little movie night at Sugar Mountain tonight. 🌙🍿

If you're camping with us this weekend, grab a chair, get comfortable and enjoy a movie under the stars.

🪩🌲 THANK YOU FOR AN INCREDIBLE NIGHT AT THE FUNKTION! 🎶

What a Saturday night on the mountain!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to Sugar Mountain for The Funktion 2026 — whether you camped with us, danced all night, grabbed some food and drinks, or just came up to enjoy the music and the mountain.

🎧 DJ Ben Frazier got the evening started and set the groove for the night.

🔥 Count Blastula absolutely brought it to the Grove Stage! We heard a LOT of great things about their set throughout the night — they definitely made some new fans at Sugar Mountain.

🚀 Pocketship kept the night moving and took us even further into the funk.

🌲 And a very special thank you to High Pines — not only for closing out the night, but for being the hosts behind The Funktion and bringing this whole funky gathering back to Sugar Mountain for another year.

And of course, thank you to everyone behind the scenes who helped make the night happen. Events like this take a lot of people doing a lot of different things before, during and after the music stops.

We didn't manage to capture nearly enough photos Saturday night — apparently we were too busy enjoying the Funktion ourselves. 😂 — but here are a few shots from the Grove Stage once things were in full swing.

Thank you for spending your Saturday night with us at Sugar Mountain. We hope you had as much fun as we did. ❤️🌲

Friday night camping is NOT included with your Funktion ticket. If you’re coming up today and staying tonight, you’ll need a separate Sugar Mountain camping reservation.

📞 ARRIVING AT SUGAR MOUNTAIN TODAY?

If no one is at the main gate when you arrive, call us at 585-437-4880. We can get you checked in, help you rent a campsite, or help with The Funktion.

🚪 SATURDAY: The main gate will be staffed beginning at 2:00 PM for The Funktion.

⛺ Saturday night camping is included with your Funktion ticket, so once the music is over, there’s no need to head home!

🍔 Food will be available
🥤 Drinks will be available
👕 Sugar Mountain merch will be available
🔥 Firewood is available onsite

🏕️🎶 COMING TO THE FUNKTION THIS WEEKEND? HERE’S THE CAMPING SCOOP!

We’re getting close! The Funktion 2026 hits Sugar Mountain this Saturday, August 29th, and we want to clear up one important camping detail before everyone starts heading for the mountain.

🎟️ Your Funktion ticket includes camping SATURDAY NIGHT, August 29th.

⚠️ Planning to come up FRIDAY?
Friday night camping is NOT included with your Funktion ticket. If you want to arrive Friday, hang out and spend the night, you’ll need to reserve a campsite separately through Sugar Mountain.

🏕️ Friday campground check-in begins at 2:00 PM.
If you’re coming Saturday for The Funktion, your Saturday night camping is already included with your event ticket.

Coming to The Funktion 2026 this Saturday but sleeping in a tent isn't really your thing? We have one cabin left at Sugar Mountain for the weekend!

Cabin 1 features a queen bed and is available for a 2-night stay, so you can make a full weekend out of The Funktion and stay right here on the mountain.
