The Dutch Inn

Today we closed a big chapter in our lives. About 9 months ago Nathan and I started talked about selling the beloved Dutch Inn.
Fast forward a couple of months to Rachel passing away and it was like I need to immediately shed anything that took away from the most important things in my life, my family.
I want to be a more dedicated business partner, a better mom and a better wife. I love spending time with my family and I truly needed to relieve some stress in order to be whole and present. I have loved every minute of being the inn keeper. I have loved meeting so many people and I have loved giving our guests a clean, comfortable safe place to make memories but we knew in our hearts this home belonged to another family.
When we found the right family, we knew immediately that they would love and care for the home that meant so much to Nate and his family. We are so excited for them to make memories and fill the home with laughter and joy!

We have had the opportunity to meet so many amazing people throughout our time at the Ortman clinic and here at the Dutch Inn. One of our all time favorite people has left us for heaven. Sweet, sweet Elizabeth we will miss you. I am sure you are walking all over up there taking in the views while nibbling on a treat. Rest In Peace sweet friend.

It’s almost time for fresh, locally grown produce, lamb meat, delicious home-baked goods, as well as other creative, fun finds!! She's done it again! Christina has such a talent for painting these beautiful window paintings to brighten up our lobby. All the staff, doctors and especially patients love them!
