What began as a revival of a local B&B has grown to a collection of boutique hotels—each with their own rich history. Cannon Beach Hotel, The Courtyard, McBee Cottages, and the Hearthstone Inn are conveniently located in midtown, just steps to the beach. No matter which one you choose, you'll always find genuine hospitality and local charm. Guests of the hotel and courtyard must be age 12 and over and no pets are allowed. Pets and children are welcome at McBee Cottages and the Hearthstone.

Everyone knows The Goonies was filmed partially here in Cannon Beach, but did you know! The final scene in the movie Point Break (starring Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves) was also filmed here?? The town of Cannon Beach was originally called Elk Creek before changing it’s name in 1922.

 Wild Roosevelt Elk frequently roam the beaches, dunes, and residential areas of town.  The easiest times to catch sight of them are early mornings and late evenings before sunset.  Fall is a perfect time to view these magnificent animals, but watch from a distance as it is mating season!
