Tickets for A South You Never Ate are now available!

A South You Never Ate returns to Virginia’s Eastern Shore on October 24 at 4 PM for an evening shaped by the people, traditions, and flavors that define this remarkable place.

Twelve guest chefs will gather at Chatham to interpret the Shore through food, drawing inspiration from its waters, farmland, heritage, and community.

The evening will also feature readings from the 2025 work of the late Bernie Herman, shared by his family—a meaningful continuation of a voice that has always been part of this event.

We have a few rooms available starting the a Sunday June 21st of sailfest_cape_charles and there is a ton of great stuff happening that day! So take a look ! We have a one nighter in our James Wilson room and a two nighter in our Virginia Wilson room and 3-day in our cozy Haven’s Cottage! All with Sunday arrival! We will work hard for early check-ins but either way you can park here and enjoy the event. Make the Bay Haven your home base, still a lot to see and do arriving Sunday!
