"Our stay at Villa Luna was perfect for our girls' retreat. The house has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. The beds are like a luxury hotel and everything was very clean. The house is very close to shopping, a beach, restaurants, kayaking and boating. Mike and Julie were great to work with and made sure we had all information to make our trip easy."

"This home is breathtaking from the moment you walk thru the door! Wonderful layout for everyone to enjoy their space and quiet corner. The pool area is set up nicely so that those that want to splash in the pool can.. and those who want to shuffle up with a book and watch the canal can .. top-notch host who was very helpful throughout the stay."

“This super 3-bedroom Cape Coral, FL home is spacious, clean, and upgraded. The salt-water pool and whirlpool bath tub are clean and well-maintained. The hosts ensured the pool & whirlpool bath tub were heated prior to our arrival. They also provided pool towels and pool accessories for all ages. The beach chairs and umbrella available for use in the two-car garage are a nice added touch when we went to the beach. If you wish to bring your boat there is a tie-off area behind the home on the canal. There is also a convenient, clean gas barbecue located behind the home. And the home has excellent wireless high-speed internet. My family and I had an excellent stay, thank you ”

“This is a very nice house! Very clean, well appointed and comfortable. We couldn't get our daughter out of the pool and we spent every evening in the nice deep hot tub. The location is very convenient and the neighborhood was very safe and welcoming. The kitchen had everything you could need to make meals and the appliances were nice and new. The outdoor areas were fantastic for eating outside and relaxing by the pool. I would absolutely stay there again.”

Hey everyone, we have some availability at Villa Luna in the month of December if anyone is looking for a Florida getaway trip. If you are interested, contact me directly for the Facebook friends discount.

A quick update on the impact of Hurricane Ian on our place and SWFL. We were incredibly blessed and lucky that our home was largely spared. The storm surge stopped at the edge of our pool deck. We didn't lose a single shingle. We didn't lose a screen on the cage surrounding the pool. It's really quite incredible given the 150 mph winds. Many in the community were not as lucky. We had a little cosmetic damage on the outside of the house which has all been repaired. We lost a palm tree and our banana grove was flattened. However, I was down there a couple weeks ago and the banana trees have already grown about 4 ft tall - it's crazy how fast they grow. Cape Coral is making a comeback little by little every day. Most of the restaurants and bars have reopened however there are no beaches open within reasonable driving distance that I am aware of. When I was down there, we just soaked up the sun around the pool and spa.
