Cape Coral Throwback Thursdays!
This vintage 1958 Cape Coral advertisement invited people to plan for their future in paradise with a simple message:

"Here and now is the time for YOU to plan."

At the time, waterfront homesites were being offered for as little as $1,990, with just $40 down and $40 per month. The vision? A waterfront community built around boating, fishing, sunshine, and an unmatched Florida lifestyle.

Nearly seven decades later, it's amazing to see how much of that vision became reality. What started as a bold idea on the banks of the Caloosahatchee River has grown into one of the largest and most recognizable waterfront communities in the world.

Cape Coral Throwback Thursday!

Take a look at this incredible piece of Cape Coral history from 1958.

Back then, Cape Coral was being marketed as a "Waterfront Wonderland," where waterfront lots could be purchased for as little as $895 with just $20 down and $20 per month. Imagine that!

The vision was ambitious: miles of navigable canals, boating, fishing, golf, sunshine, and year-round outdoor living. What was once a bold dream sketched on paper has grown into one of Florida's most sought-after waterfront communities.

It's fascinating to think about the people who saw this ad nearly 70 years ago and decided to invest in Cape Coral's future. Many of those lots are now home to beautiful waterfront properties worth hundreds of thousands—or even millions—of dollars.

Coral Palms was part of this growing adventure. Book your stay at Coral Palms today and export Cape Coral. www.capecoralpalms.com
