And that’s a wrap! The last breakfasts have been served and the final guests have checked out. Thanks to everyone who worked to make The Mission Inn such a special place filled with special people. As the inn transitions to a private home again, we will all be starting a new chapter as well. Follow us to see what we’re up to in 2022 and beyond. Starting off the new year with Chef Leslie’s “Better than Wawa” breakfast panini, loaded with eggs, honey baked ham, maple bacon, smoked cooper sharp cheese, and jalapeño raspberry jelly. Served with rustic roasted potatoes and a cinnamon orange party scone. All circles on this morning’s plate - they symbolize coins and good fortune for the new year! Wishing all of you a new year filled with happiness, health, and new adventures!

Another fan favorite this morning! Chef Leslie is serving her famous spinach egg pizza served with some apple maple sausage and a baked pumpkin donut. Yum!

The countdown to our closing continues… Chef Leslie made her light and delicious lemon soufflé pancakes this morning for our guests to enjoy. Topped with a citrus glaze and served with a side of crispy bacon from the Amish. Who’s going to miss this??

Counting down the final week of breakfasts at The Mission Inn! This morning Chef Leslie created an egg soufflé masterpiece that Dr. Seuss would be proud of. Made with cheddar cheese and fresh ham over wild rice, and a homemade blueberry lemon scone on the side. It tasted as good as it looks!

Today’s “Star and Wave” article makes it feel like our new chapter is getting close. A big thank you to all of our guests, family, and friends who have been so supportive during this stressful time. We are honored to have been the stewards of such an amazing property and will cherish everyone who crossed our paths over the past five years. For those who are wondering, December 31st is the final day of operation for The Mission Inn. After that, we will be staying in the Cape May area and plan to continue with our other two local businesses: and .

💍 She said yes!! 💍 Congratulations to Tara and Sam who got engaged in our great room last night. How sweet that Sam popped the question with all of their respective daughters in the room - they had surprised the newly engaged couple with a drive down to Cape May to be part of this special night. And then they popped some champagne to celebrate! We wish them a lifetime of happiness together.
