On Saturday, July 30, the Cape Vincent Arts Council will host its inaugural NNY Riverside Music Fest, a day of live music along the St. Lawrence River. The free event will feature a variety of Northern New York musicians performing from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on the village green in downtown Cape Vincent.
Performance schedule is as follows:
11:00 Mirabellla Phinney
Mirabella Phinney is a singer/songwriter who spreads positivity through music. She is currently doing a local summer tour, entertaining audiences with her alternative sound.
12:00 Bridget DeMarse
Singer/guitarist Bridget DeMarse presents a unique blend of folk pop. Her performances include original songs as well covers by a diverse range of artists such as Bob Dylan, the Tragically Hip, Rihanna, Pearl Jam and many more.
1:00 Tim Greening
Tim Greening is a singer and acoustic guitarist who has been entertaining audiences regularly at Cape Vincent's Cup of Joy Cafe.
2:00 Brittany Cean
A local performer since age 15, Brittany Cean plays hits spanning five decades.
3:00 Emma Broulliard
Emma Broulliard is a singer/songwriter who plays '70s folk rock-styled hippie tunes to match her usually no-shoe feet.
4:00 Moody Octopus
Moody Octopus is a three-piece indie-jam band from Watertown. Formed in 2021, their sound fuses jazz and funky jams with out-of-the-box lyrics that will make you want to get up and dance.
5:00 Emma Paige
Singer/songwriter Emma Paige of Watertown is an R&B legend in the making. A charismatic writer and entertainer, Emma sings of love, loss, and overcoming as she commands the stage with her powerful voice.
6:00 Joey Collins & the Creatives
Joey Collins is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter who can be seen performing frequently around the North Country. His band's latest album, Shade, was released in 2022.
7:00 The New Paris
The New Paris is a unique, live-instrument indie-hip hop band that blends rap, rock, R&B, and improvisation. The band includes Quince (vocals), Joey Collins (guitar), Zack Perkins (bass), Quory Soluri (keys), and Steve Dettmer (drums) and features Emma Paige (vocals) and other special surprise guests.
The Cape Vincent Arts Council is dedicated to increasing opportunities for the enjoyment of and participation in cultural activities in and around Cape Vincent, NY. Among the events it sponsors are the Concerts on the Green series, arts classes for children and adults, and its premiere event, the 2022 Thousand Islands International Piano Competition for Young People (September 9-11, 2022).
