Beautiful Edge of the World Knockout sunsets over the Pacific Ocean. Five acre coffee/macadamia nut plantation. Super location just south of Kailua-Kona.

Nearby some of Hawaii's best snorkeling, hiking, The Place of Refuge, Painted Church, and great and reasonable restaurants.

Our BnB is located on a working farm. In addition to the small scale commercial growing of coffee and macadamia nuts, we also grow organic bananas, pineapple, guava, papaya, sour sop, Surinam cherries, atamoya, cheromoya, oranges, limes, sapodilla, and passion fruit, some of which are served with breakfast, depending on the fruits in season. There are also abundant beautiful flowers scattered here and there.

We'll be back to the "Edge" in just over two weeks after a great trip to the Philippines, Malaysia, Cambodia and Thailand. Meanwhile, Bill, John, and Patti, according to all reports, have been doing a splendid job keeping things running smoothly. Big mahalo.

Every June and July we go to Asia where my family and I work with disadvantaged children and visit relatives in Japan. Been doing this for the past 17 years and have found it to be an enormous source of enjoyment and satisfaction. During these summers we've been able to hire marvelous fill in's so that we can keep the Edge going strong year round. Thank you, Keith (from Florida) for your excellent hosting.

Last night a great couple from Sweden, another from the UK and a third from China. Very interesting breakfast talk. They seemed to enjoy my tour of Hawaiian plants.
