2018 OPENING

Greetings from Caratunk House!

We are open for the 2018 season, and look forward to seeing hikers on the AT, whether north or southbound. Our resupply store is stocked with a wide range of a hiker’s needs, with an even larger inventory than last year. For our guests staying here, we offer a full, family-style breakfast for only $7. Beds start at $20. We also offer full shuttle service. Our B&B hostel is located only 150 yds. from the trail, and 5 minutes from the ferry.

Owner Paul One Braid is back in full swing as your exemplary Host. And there are two new faces for his team; Jason, who comes from the Cape in MA, and Bonnie, from Belfast, ME. And lest we forget Gibson, the friendly Caratunk Summer Cat, also from Belfast, ME.

We take pride in servicing the AT hikers to the fullest. We look forward to meeting you and helping you in any way we can.
