Staff Spotlight: Gene!

This week, we're shining the spotlight on Gene, our weekday breakfast cook! For nearly 10 years, Gene has been helping guests start their mornings with a great meal and a warm smile. Along with his passion for cooking, Gene enjoys getting to know our guests and catching up with the many familiar faces he knows by name.

When asked what he enjoys most about working at Best Western Caribou Inn, Gene says it's the great atmosphere and the teamwork. He appreciates how everyone works together toward common goals, creating a positive environment for both staff and guests.

Outside of work, Gene enjoys spending quality time with his family and taking walks with his dog, Jake.

Staff Spotlight: Ariana!

This week, we're shining the spotlight on Ariana! Recently promoted to our Events Manager, Ariana is the friendly face behind many of the special events hosted here at Best Western Caribou Inn. Planning a wedding, meeting, banquet, or celebration? She's the one helping bring each guest's vision to life. After spending time serving and bartending, she's excited to take on the new challenge of a leadership role and looks forward to creating memorable experiences for every event.

When asked what she enjoys most about working at Best Western Caribou Inn, Ariana says it's her coworkers. She appreciates how easy they are to work with and how supportive they are, making every day enjoyable.

Outside of work, Ariana loves spending time outdoors. Whether she's hiking, relaxing at the lake, snowshoeing in the winter, or making memories with her kids, she enjoys every opportunity to get outside and spend time with family.

Staff Spotlight: Alysa!

This week, we're shining the spotlight on Alysa! Over the past year, Alysa has taken on several roles throughout the hotel, from serving guests in our Greenhouse Restaurant and Bucks Bar to welcoming visitors at the front desk, and now as a member of our housekeeping team. Her willingness to learn and jump in wherever she's needed has made her a valued part of our team.

When asked what she enjoys most about working at Best Western Caribou Inn, Alysa says it's knowing she can count on her team to help get things done. She also shared that housekeeping has been a fun new challenge, and she's enjoyed learning everything the department has to offer.

When she's not at work, Alysa loves spending time outdoors, especially on the water swimming or kayaking. She also enjoys relaxing with her pets, Myah and Kitty, and listening to her favorite 80s rock.

Thank you, Alysa, for your flexibility, positive attitude, and all the hard work you've put into every role you've taken on. We're grateful to have you as part of the Best Western Caribou Inn family!
