🥜If you missed them, here’s your chance! I’ve had SOO many inquiries about these babies that I’m going to go out on a limb and offer these homemade Nutter Butters for pre-order for next week! Pickup will be at the shop (74 Sonnemann in Carlinville) on Tuesday 9/8 from 1700-1900. Only paid orders are guaranteed! If you do not have Venmo please message me to make arrangements in advance! 🤗 I will update post when I can no longer accept additional orders (if we get to that point 😅). Considering offering this for Grandma Neal’s Texas Sheet Cake too but we will see how this goes 😉

Don’t forget to VOTE for Carlinville as the Merriest town! I am obsessed with Christmas Hallmark movies and pretty sure I would just offer up our Ccabin, Christmas Tree farm, the Bake Shop and gladly bake up and decorate all goods needed for props/ production 🤣❤️ I LOVE Christmas!! 🎄This is probably one of my all time fav cakes I’ve made for the holidays and several get ordered every year. I’m wondering if I should offer them as pre-orders this year 🤔 What do we think?!

✌️I just realized we are only 10 new friends away from 3k! This feels unreal to me! You all know I love sharing everything from baking, to my favorite things, and all life brings in between.

🤩 Naturally, I feel like we must see if we can bring any more friends over to the sweet side here at Cabin Cakes and if we can…I think we should celebrate! I am bagging up all the orders from Saturday night! I made fresh Nutter butters and Grandma Neal’s Texas sheet cake today (I only had a few left of each and they were the most requested 🤪)! I will be replying g to all comments that already ordered and I still have tin cakes, PB Roos (choc/ peanut butter crispies in small and large) and some peanut butter banana mini loafs! Today we finally finished a project up that we’ve been working on for a few weeks! As you can imagine, when I’m baking in large quantities for pop ups and markets (and still doing custom orders) a lot of the day to day can get pushed off for “later”. We have been doing some room shuffling with the kiddos and while I had a goal to get everything done before school started, I just couldn’t quite make it happen 😩 (queue all the mom guilt) Wyatt has been so patient, his was the last room to be done due to all the logistics. Today we finally made it all come together 😅

I am having all the feelings. We left behind the “little explorer” decor filled with bears, arrows, a tree house bed, and woodland stickers on his walls. Now we have concert posters, electronics, a big kid bed, and prefer patterns over characters 😩 I’m sad and happy all at the same time. Needless to say I think I have a happy boy who is growing up way too fast. Thank goodness we still wanted Legos and some of our stuffies or I might have had a full on melt down! 🤪

I will be back to deliveries, bagging up orders and baking for you all tomorrow! I apologize for the delay, this busy day just got away from me! Now I’m off to do laundry, homework (lord help me we have Snorkl this year, I feel like I need to training to help the kids w/ assignments 😅), and all the other “fun” things!

🏌️‍♂️Did someone say hand carved Buttercream Golf Balls?? Probably not but that doesn’t mean we can’t do it 🤣 Always trying something new around here! This one wasn’t for the faint of heart though… I think by the end of it I was carving them in the deep freeze 🥵🥶! Custom cookie cakes have been a hot item and YES I will have some tomorrow at Brave Hazel Boutique from 9-12!

S’mores cake one day, Cookies and Cream the next! You really just can’t go wrong with this flavor combination 🖤🤍 3 layers of cookies and cream cake with cookies and cream buttercream between and of course topped with all the on theme things. I was admittedly a little sad to see this one go because I wanted a slice real bad! 🤣👩‍🍳
