Update on lil Violet. The rehab team discovered she had pneumonia- her pups were only two days old and she wasn’t making milk. They transferred her to their rehab facility in Allentown and put her on antibiotics. They are giving pups milk until she is strong enough to take care of them herself. This is a sweet pic of her yesterday checking on them

Never a dull moment here at Fallen Tree - today setting up for a little wedding we found a tiny eastern red bat who had blown out of tree. When we went to move her we realized that she was a mom and had two little ones under her wings. With the help of Ravens View Wildlife Rescue who put us in touch with PA Bat Rescue and a lovely gentlemen came and picked up Violet ( yeah we named her) and babies to properly rehydrate her. If all goes well she’ll be returned to the farm to potentially be released.
