We are pleased to inform you that Pelican Cove has withstood at least fourteen atmospheric rivers over the past three months with ease. Despite one large cypress tree branch that did not land on the house and one brief electrical outage, we fared much better than Pebble Beach and Carmel-by-the-Sea, both of which experienced ten days without power.

In other exciting news, we are happy to share that Pelican Cove underwent an upgrade to the living spaces within the house at the beginning of the year. We have updated some indoor furniture such as living and dining room furniture, to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for you. The floors have been re-sanded, and the entire interior has been repainted.

As we move into Spring, the Central Coast is coming alive with flora and fauna. Harbor seals are having pups, otters are having babies, and whales are making their annual migration along the California coastline. In fact, we recently had a rare sighting of a Right Whale in Monterey for the first time in decades!
