The property has been in the family since the 1940's. The original house was a small 2 story built in 1918- it survived 2 devastating hurricanes: Hazel in 1954 and Fran in 1996 as well as other lesser hurricanes and storms that passed through. The current house was built to accommodate our growing family. Now it is the focal point of our get-togethers- even if it can't accommodate all 3 generations !
