Update on the progress of Pickensville Campground!

Our subcontractors are waiting for the order to arrive for the high voltage electric fasteners that are needed to complete the electrical repairs at Pickensville Campground. In the meantime, our main contractor is starting the recharge and checks on the water system so that upon the electrical system being repaired we can open the doors to the campground. We are getting close but no official re-opening date has been determined since we are awaiting for the final materials to come in. Please continue to be patient and stay tuned for there is more yet to come!

**Update to Pickensville Campground, No.2**

Upon further investigation to the electrical issues, we have realized that the issues will take more time to fix than previously estimated, and, thus, Pickensville Campground will be closed until further notice, most likely until Labor Day weekend. It may not require that much time to get the campground open again, so keep checking for updates. Sites have been restricted from booking on Recreation.gov until September 2. Bottom line is, Pickensville will not be open for Independence Day weekend.

We are deeply sorry to have to relay such news right before a holiday weekend. All cancelled reservations will be refunded.
