September in North Texas is still summer. It just has homework attached.

We run water slides well into the month because the weather here doesn't care what the calendar says. Ninety degrees in late September is normal, and a wet slide still makes complete sense at a birthday party.

After that we switch to dry setups. Bounce houses, combos and obstacle courses run all fall and straight through the holidays.

Fall festival season starts sooner than you think.

Church fall festivals, school carnivals, trunk or treats, company picnics. Those all land between late September and Halloween, and the good dates get claimed early by whoever plans furthest ahead.

We do events, not just backyards. Obstacle courses that keep a long line moving, combos for the younger kids, and slides that still make sense while it's warm out.

What happens to a bounce house between your party and the next one.

It gets wiped down and sanitized. Every time, every unit, no exceptions. Then it gets inspected, dried completely so nothing grows in the seams, and rolled for the next job.

We run commercial-grade vinyl, not the backyard stuff, and we carry insurance. Every setup gets anchored properly whether it's grass, turf or concrete, and we don't skip stakes or sandbags to save fifteen minutes.

You're putting your kids in it. That part isn't worth cutting corners on.

Labor Day weekend is two weeks out. September 5th, 6th and 7th.

That weekend books up faster than any other date left on the calendar, because it's the last long weekend before fall and everybody has the same idea at the same time.

If you're planning anything for those three days, a backyard birthday, a block party, a church cookout, now is when to lock it in. Each unit can only be in one backyard at a time.

Our biggest single unit, set up on a school field earlier this month.

Run the obstacle course end to end, climb the tower, then down the wave slide into the splash lane. It holds a long line of kids without anyone standing around waiting, which is the whole problem with one small slide at a big event.

It does need room. Roughly 65 feet of length and 20 feet of width on flat ground. That usually means a park, a school field, a church lot or a big yard.

Hot pink, neon green and black smiley faces, with two lanes running down into a big splash pool. It's loud in the best way and it photographs like crazy, which matters when every parent at the party has a phone out.

Runs wet or dry. Fits a standard backyard.

Friday is our busiest setup day heading into a weekend. If you want something for Saturday, booking on Friday is cutting it close.

The question we get most: will it actually fit in my yard?

Honest answer. Most of our combos need about 35 by 20 feet of flat ground. The big obstacle courses need closer to 55 feet of length. You also need a gate we can get a cart through, usually 36 inches or wider, and an outlet within about 100 feet.

Slope matters more than people think. A little grade is fine. A steep yard is not.

Easiest way to find out is to send us a photo of the space. We'll tell you straight whether it works. We would rather tell you no now than show up on party day and not be able to set up.

Fifty feet of head-to-head racing, then a drop slide at the end.

Two lanes run the whole length, so kids race side by side through the obstacles instead of standing in a line waiting their turn. Climb wall at the far end, then straight down the slide.

This is the one for older kids and the one parents end up racing on once the kids get tired. We've seen it happen at every single setup.

Works for birthdays, school field days, church events and block parties.

Good Vibes only.

Surf shack bounce house with a wet slide attached, so kids can bounce, climb and slide without ever leaving the unit. Big splash landing at the bottom.

This one is a favorite for backyard birthdays because it doesn't need a huge yard. Standard fenced backyard and a gate we can get a cart through, and it fits.

It's still running near 100 out here. Water slide weather isn't over.
