Description of Duties:

To be an Ambassador for Cove Communities and Point Sebago at all times by committing to a culture of service, hospitality and accountability.
To treat all internal and external customers with respect, embrace your role as a problem-solver who is committed to continual improvement, and exceed guest expectations by living Cove’s Core Values.
Maintains a working knowledge of equipment maintenance.
Must be able to maintain costs within budget.
Special focus on preventative maintenance.
Must keep a clean and organized working environment.
Assists in all facets of repair and maintenance.
Maintains active involvement in Safety programs and training.
Must be able to assist in off-season projects and maintenance
Follow all Point Sebago safety procedures at all times
Supports and follows Cove Communities and Point Sebago policy at all times.
All other duties as assigned
Requirements:

Requires a vast knowledge of vehicle and equipment repairs and maintenance.
Must have clean driver’s license.
Must be able to lift fifty pounds on a regular basis and able to stand or walk for long periods of time.
May occasionally be called in after hours to help manage emergencies.
Must be detail oriented person able to work independently and as a team member.
Must possess a strong knowledge of tracking repairs and costs of vehicles.
Weekend work required in the season.

As a Barback, you will contribute to the success of the resort by ensuring that bar areas are stocked, clean, and running smoothly.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
*Clean and maintain bar area including floors, counters, furniture, tables, glasses, and dishes.
*Keep bar stocked with necessary equipment including spirits, beer, ice, napkins and other garnishes, cleaning equipment and glasses.
*Restock the bar at the close of each shift.
*Organize and put away shipments of liquor and beer while tracking inventory levels before and after shifts.
*Work with POS systems to take customer orders.
*Other tasks will be assigned as necessary.

Skills & Qualifications
*Must be able to lift 60 lbs. comfortably.
*Must possess strong organizational skills.
*Strong time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
*Attention to detail.
*Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education & Experience
*High School degree or equivalent
*Must have or be willing to obtain necessary liquor and alcohol service permits.

$12.50/hour + tips

GROUNDSKEEPER



Job Summary;

The Grounds Technician contributes directly to a positive guest experience by helping to provide a clean and safe resort for Point Sebago guests.



Reports to: Facilities Manager



Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Ensures that all guest-facing areas are clean, tidy and well-presented.

Be the face of the resort and always offer courteous and professional service for internal and external guests.

Performs daily cleaning and maintenance of all grounds in line with resort procedures/expectations as assigned.

Assists in all facets of resort cleaning and maintenance. This includes trash pickup, mowing and w**d trimming, painting and site cleaning.

Rakes, shovels, and loads material as needed relating to projects being done.

Completes all required tasks associated with site check-ins and check-outs.

Responds quickly and professionally to work orders assigned through Contract Services.

Reports any unsafe conditions related to grounds and equipment to their manager.

Supports and follows Cove Communities and Point Sebago policy at all times.



Required Skills/Abilities:

Must have clean driver’s license

Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Weekend work and evenings are required

All other duties as assigned
