Local Christmas tree farms are opening! Many of our guests have made a tradition of coming to the mountains for a weekend getaway and picking out their tree while they’re here!

Snow tubing is officially open at ! There might not be snow on the ground yet, but they've already made enough snow to open the tracks! While you're there, you can also check out the alpine coaster and other activities. Learn more at highlandsoutpost.com.

The playground at The Village Green is already epic, and this spring it got a few new play elements! Personally I love to get coffee across the street at Buck's Coffee Cafe - Cashiers, then stroll through the gardens while my kids play on the playground. If you're in the area on June 26th, swing by to check out the Grand Opening of the new play elements!

The rhododendron are in bloom, and the mountain laurel will be soon! Such a beautiful time of year to visit. We have dates available starting in June, but summer dates go super fast, so book now!
