I observed something encouraging last night. Due to a lot of the officers being out of town for work our young line officers had to step up a chair. And as I looked around I saw that I was the longest serving member of our lodge ….meaning that of all the brothers present I had been in Casper Losge #15 the longest.

Although the announcement has already been made I thought I'd update the information.
Brother Joesph D "Dugan" Simmons laid down his working tools and passed to the Celestial Lodge Above on Friday, October 13th 2023.
Brother Dugan was initiated as an Entered Apprentice on January 8 1964, Passed to the degree of a Fellowcraft on January 22nd 1964 and raised to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason on February 12th 1964.
He served as Worshipful Master of Casper Loge #15 beginning on June 30th 1971.
He served as lodge secretary for a couple of years around 2007 through 2009 (I think).
If I am not mistaken he served as Grand Chaplain for the Grand Loge of Wyoming AF&AM but I do not know in what year.
No funeral or Masonic services are planned at this time.
Alas my Brother.
