Happy Sunday, 75 days to Opener! We’ve been busy at NBR. Cabins 1&2 are looking fantastic, Tommy and I painted your new kitchens cabinets, and Mom is now with Dad.

I’m holding to keep reveal of cabins a secret, kitchens will be back together now. W***y will be watching out his window, we can’t wait to see you all very soon!

Sunday, January 18. Our 2026 season has kicked off at MN Sportshow. I need our NBR families to pray and show support for our good friends over at Stoney Point Resort! Please see there page for details.

I’m very proud of all we do here at NBR, we’ve been working hard for you our guests, since i heard my whisper in 2018. We showed off NBR to many people this weekend, (yes bookings made) my team had finished cabins 1&2 additions, but extremely proud of my daughter Goof (Lexi). What’cha think of your new bedrooms in Cabins 1&2?

Goof heard a whisper from a Gaurdian Angel and acted! She made a pan of lasagne and pumpkin bread, called Karen to ask if she could come over to hospital and have dinner with her and Jim. Jim sent me a text of thanks and how good goof’s meal was.

Thank you to all who came out and seen me this weekend, loved seeing everyone. When you hear that whisper, I urge you to act, God is good!

Saturday January 10th. Busy week at NBR, cabin 2 yours or 1? Well interiors are looking fantastic, photos from 2 sneak peek, yes new door to bathroom. NBR swag again delivered, we hope you like our lodge is almost full of new apparel.

Happy 2026 New Year! This year I turn 60 in a few days, found this photo of mom and me from this time last year! We’ve been busy for you, cabins 1&2 look stunning, I’m hiding the reveal😊

Had grandson (Rod) of S. G. Trent, a former owner at NBR send these photos of Bob “Cowboy” Trent his dad from summer of 1947. Love love love when I see old photos from NBR. We also had a few deer and Fox wanting to check in on security camera.

NBR swag also showing up, our lodge is getting full for you. I hope you all had a blessed and Happy New Year, we can’t wait to see you all.

Happy Saturday it’s -12 at Your Lake. Very quiet Winter wonderland with some NBR presents showing up today. We hope you all are having a blessed Merry Christmas season.

Most of our NBR families see’s her when she’s green and warm, but she’s still beautiful when cold and snow covered. Stay tuned! New mugs filled with Venison Chili😊

Currently weather condition; it’s cold, NBR she’s still beautiful.I’m up checking in, working hard for you on renovations and checking on our fleet. Progress on cabins is outstanding, we’ll be finishing interiors soon. Your lake is locked in Ice.

Last minute reminder: Deposits in? Window closing please get them into me. I’ll be working hard till Christmas, stay tuned.

Small Business Saturday. I admit, yes NBR is that; a small business, but with a very large NBR family. We’ve been working hard all off season, with cabin updates, resort upgrades, and yes deer processing. Your lake is getting Ice’d over!

Thank you NBR families for continuing to support me and our NBR small business. I tell many how when they call wanting to join us, “Sorry I hate saying no, but I’m blessed with some of the guests(friends) a resort can have, were full”. I mean that I, we do all this hard work to see the smiles on your faces, give hugs and can’t wait to see you all next season!

Please remember, if you haven’t yet, get your deposits in. W***y says it’s nap time.
