The Millers have owned and operated Wishbone Resort on the northern shore of Cass Lake, Minnesota since 1984. Wishbone Resort has 19 clean and modern cabins fully equipped with all the comforts of home, all on beautiful lake-level grounds. Activities around our resort for guest to enjoy includes a heated outdoor pool with large patio area, large playground, game room, horseshoe pits, free use of c

anoe and paddle-boat. A sugar sand swimming beach and swimming raft are located on our private beach access at Lost Lake. A fire pit with firewood along with picnic tables are available for your family's evening enjoyment!

Just wanted to remind everyone that even though it is a holiday weekend, we will still be doing normal Sunday hours (12pm-8pm) last call at 7:30 and doors shut at 8.

Fishing isn’t quite at its fall full force yet but it’s starting to get there!! The perch bite has been good as lots of nice perch are starting to slide up shallow! Still lots of walleyes mixed in with the perch ranging depths from 8-10 ft over w**d beds, any jig/minnow combo will work for the perch and 1/8 ounce black and gold jig head tipped with fathead or crawler has work best for walleyes. The walleye bite is still on!! The bite has been great and should continue to be that way! We have some cabin availability open up for August and some availability yet for September. The jumbo perch should start moving up shallow soon and that can be the best bite of the whole year, so you don’t want to miss out!! Call the office at (218)335-2320 or go on our website (www.wishboneresort.com) and submit a reservation request for any cabin information or bookings.

We have blue moon, summer shandy and fresh squeezed IPA on 2 for 1’s until they are gone, also our $16 beer bucket special daily from 4pm-7pm.

Even on the hot and calm days, the bite has been great! Seems we have a bit of an algae bloom happening and with that the walleye bite has really picked up! Both day time and night time have been producing well. Being that the water is more stained, the walleyes have moved up shallower during the day making 10-12ft of water the key depths. Weedy/rocky areas have been the best as those areas have been holding the most bait fish. Black and gold jigs tipped with a crawler have been the best but reports of jigs with fat head minnows have been working well too.

Looks like the weekend is shaping up to be another nice one, hopefully everyone is able to get out and enjoy it!

Another great week in the books! It’s always fun watching kids catch dandy perch and walleyes! 🎣 the fishing has been great and so has the weather! It looks like it’s going to continue that way for the following week ☀️ make sure to get out while you can as these days now become numbered!

The bar will be open from 12pm-8pm today so stop in and say hi!
