The Millers have owned and operated Wishbone Resort on the northern shore of Cass Lake, Minnesota since 1984. Wishbone Resort has 19 clean and modern cabins fully equipped with all the comforts of home, all on beautiful lake-level grounds. Activities around our resort for guest to enjoy includes a heated outdoor pool with large patio area, large playground, game room, horseshoe pits, free use of canoe and paddle-boat. A sugar sand swimming beach and swimming raft are located on our private beach access at Lost Lake. A fire pit with firewood along with picnic tables are available for your family's evening enjoyment!

As of today we will be opening the books for 2026 - 2027 ice fishing season! We had added a new feature this year "guide/cabin package" but mostly everything is still the same as last year! We are hoping for another great winter as we have gotten very lucky with ice conditions on the last few! Please contact us with any questions or inquires!

We will soon be taking ice fishing reservations in the next week or so, be on the look out for a updated ice fishing 2026-2027 post about rates and availability.

Hunter also has availability for the next 2 weeks for perch/walleye trips. October 17th will be the last available day! The best bite is on!

With another season in the books we would like to thank everyone for making it another amazing and memorable year! Join us today as we will be doing 2-1’s on all bottle b**r and seltzers and $9 pitchers of b**r for our last night for the bar!

*we will no longer be serving gas after 3pm today for the rest of the season*

Also our access will be closed to all public after today for the season.

Just wanted to remind everyone that even though it is a holiday weekend, we will still be doing normal Sunday hours (12pm-8pm) last call at 7:30 and doors shut at 8.

Fishing isn’t quite at its fall full force yet but it’s starting to get there!! The perch bite has been good as lots of nice perch are starting to slide up shallow! Still lots of walleyes mixed in with the perch ranging depths from 8-10 ft over w**d beds, any jig/minnow combo will work for the perch and 1/8 ounce black and gold jig head tipped with fathead or crawler has work best for walleyes.
