The Millers have owned and operated Wishbone Resort on the northern shore of Cass Lake, Minnesota since 1984. Wishbone Resort has 19 clean and modern cabins fully equipped with all the comforts of home, all on beautiful lake-level grounds. Activities around our resort for guest to enjoy includes a heated outdoor pool with large patio area, large playground, game room, horseshoe pits, free use of c

anoe and paddle-boat. A sugar sand swimming beach and swimming raft are located on our private beach access at Lost Lake. A fire pit with firewood along with picnic tables are available for your family's evening enjoyment!

Just putting together a few finishing touches today and tomorrow and we will be fully open for the 2026 season 🎉 to anyone coming up this weekend, we will not be carrying any shiners till further notice but we are fully stocked on fat heads so make sure to stop on your way up! The bar will be open tomorrow at 4pm-close then will continue normal hours for the rest of the season! Good luck to everyone fishing this weekend!!

Ice out was officially yesterday (04/27/26) and we couldn’t be happier 🎉 luckily we did not have very many issues with the ice pushing up, besides messing up the beach. The boys made quick work this morning getting it all fixed up! Docks will start being put in tomorrow and Abby is working very hard putting the bar back together for the upcoming season 😎 not much longer and we will be seeing you all soon!!

Gaining lots of progress from the last couple days. Should definitely be out by mid next week, especially if we get the rain that is to be predicted for the future forecast. A lot of the smaller chain lakes are 75-90 percent open. Should be setting up for another awesome opener! With the couple beautiful days we’ve had recently, we have made a huge improvement on the ice! Make sure boats are ready and gear is all in order cause in no time we will be back on the open water! Who else is ready for open water fishing!? 😎🎣

Only 39 days till walleye opener but hey who’s counting 🤷🏼‍♂️😎 we are very excited to open back up and get the wheels turning again! Everyone has been taking advantage of the beautiful weather we’ve been having and working hard doing maintenance along with putting things back together for our summer season! Just before we all know it, we’ll all be back on the water. See you all soon!!😎😁

Another awesome couple day trips in the books! Thanks Jim for booking through us and being such an awesome client 😎 unfortunately our season is coming to an end and we would like to thank each and everyone of you for making this winter season a great and memorable one! However Hunter will still be doing full and half trips out of the side by side till the end of march, shoot him a call at 218-556-1642 and experience some of the best perch bite of the year!!

Also a reminder we will be having our potluck this Saturday 5pm-11pm along with 2 for 1s on all selected beer!!
