Something new is brewing at Roaring River! 🤎
From Kansas City to your cup, The Roasterie Kansas City's Coffee Company. What started in the basement of a Kansas City home in 1993 grew into a Missouri coffee tradition. They source beans from around the world and roast them in KC with a love for good coffee that we’re excited to share with you. Cool Ozark mornings, a hot breakfast, and a steaming cup of Missouri-roasted coffee with a view of the hills. That’s a morning worth making the trip for. 🌲☕️

🎃 Something spooky is happening at Roaring River! 👻

Grab the kids, throw on those costumes, and come join us for our Trunk-or-Treat at the Emory Melton Inn on Sunday, October 25th from 3–5 PM!

We’re filling the afternoon with candy, games, coloring, costumes, and plenty of Halloween fun for the whole family. Whether your little ones are witches, superheroes, pumpkins, or something completely spooky, we want to see them! 🎃👻

So mark your calendars, bring your best costume, and get ready to trick-or-treat Roaring River style!

Rain or shine, we’ll see you October 25th!

Maybe you’ve been to Roaring River in the middle of summer.

You’ve fished the river, walked through the park, grabbed a bite to eat, and watched the park come alive on a busy weekend.

But have you ever been here when there’s nowhere you need to be?

When you can wake up, grab a cup of coffee, and take your time.

When the trails are quieter. The mornings are cooler. The trees are changing. The river is still running. And instead of trying to fit everything into one busy weekend, you can actually slow down and enjoy it.

That’s what we love about the off-season.

Roaring River doesn’t stop being a place to visit when October ends. If anything, it gives you a whole different reason to come.

Come for a quiet weekend. Stay for the fall colors. Make a Christmas tradition out of it. Find a new favorite trail. Sit by the river a little longer.

You might be surprised by how much there is to discover when the crowds are gone. 🍂🤎

CAST A LINE FOR A CAUSE 🎀🎣

Join us this weekend for our Breast Cancer Derby! Grab your fishing gear, spend the day at Roaring River, and fish for a chance to win one of 10 prizes while supporting a great cause.

A $5 minimum ticket purchase is required to enter the derby. Once you’re entered, there will be 50 tagged fish released into the river. If you catch one of the tagged fish, bring it to the Park Store to be entered into the drawing for a chance to win one of our 10 prizes, with a variety of prizes up for grabs!

Come fish, have some fun, and help us cast a line for a cause. 💗

COUNTY WIDE BURN BAN CANCELLED. However, please exercise caution when making campfires. Keep fires small, ensure they are attended at all times, and are extinguished when leaving your campsite.

🎃 Vendors, we want YOU! 🎃

We had such a great turnout for our Trunk-or-Treat last year, and we’re ready to make this year even bigger and better! We already have a few vendors signed up, but we’d love to add some more to the fun.

If you’ve been thinking about joining us, just do it! 👀 It’s a great chance to get your business in front of local families, meet people in the community, decorate your trunk, pass out some candy and have a fun afternoon with us.

We’re partnering with the Cassville Community Collective this year to bring even more fun to the event, both inside and out. We’re putting together a few extra things for families to enjoy, and we can’t wait to see it all come together!

So if you’ve been on the fence about signing up, take this as your sign. 😉 Come be part of the fun and help us make this year’s Trunk-or-Treat one to remember!
