Fireworks on the fourth!

The Shell K**b Chamber of Commerce on Table Rock Lake is hosting their annual Fire and Thunder fireworks show this Friday, July 4th, 2025, at the southeast corner of the Highway 39 Bridge, on the edge of Table Rock Lake. A trained and licensed contractor will be handling the fireworks, and while CCFPD isn't in charge of the display itself, we will be on hand to ensure everyone's safety.

- Safety Zone: There will be a 440 to 450-foot radius safety zone around the fireworks shooting site. For your protection, only authorized personnel will be allowed within this area.
- Lake Patrol and Safety: The Missouri State Water Patrol will be assisting on Table Rock Lake to keep all boats out of the designated safety radius. Look for buoys marking the boundaries, and please do not enter this restricted area.
- Bridge Closure: For the safety of both vehicular and pedestrian traffic, CCFPD will temporarily close the Highway 39 bridge just before the fireworks show begins and will reopen it once the display is over.

We want everyone to have a memorable and safe Independence Day. Let's make sure your only post-fireworks glow is from the show, not from the flashing lights of an ambulance. Because, let's be honest, trying to see fireworks from a hospital bed or an ambulance just isn't the dazzling weekend experience you're hoping for.

Thanks to tonight’s rain dinner was Pizza Hut by land but next time we hope to enjoy by lake. It’s about 30 minutes by boat or car to the Shell K**b Pizza Hut.

There is a courtesy dock that sits below the restaurant and a stairway to go up.

Enjoy your pizza with a view.
