And that’s a wrap on season 2026! 👏👏 The Grand Dame on Main has seen 132 years, and after a banner season, she’s ready for a little rest—follow us here on social for upcoming off-season events (Halloween and Christmas activities are coming up!) and start booking for 2027. As tonight’s the final night of our 2026 season, it only seemed appropriate that we would play you out with the “Pentagöet Waltz,” first played on the inn’s opening day 🎶🎶 In the special Castine-Brooksville episode of MaineLife on NEWS CENTER Maine, hosted by ERIN OVALLE | MAINE LIFE and Your Maine Concierge, we helped them “step back INN time,” with this original tune from the Victorian era 🤩 We’re all sold out for our final night of service—and we look forward to seeing everyone at our special off-season events this winter. Are you drooling yet? At the end of a long day of filming the Castine-Brooksville MaineLife episode, ERIN OVALLE | MAINE LIFE and Your Maine Concierge sat down for a dinner of all of our Pentagöet classics—lobster linguini in beurre blanc, smoked trout and dill dip, Deer Isle crab and corn chowder, blueberry cobbler, and more! 🦞🫐🦀🌽 As Jana Markow explains, we work closely with our local farms like Tilth & Timber and Sunset Acres Farm, as well as local fisheries and Maine Shellfish Co. Ellsworth to produce a hyper-local (and hyper-delicious) Maine menu 🤤 And this is the LAST week to enjoy our restaurant before we close for the off-season—call 207-326-8616 to snag a reservation, only two tables left on Thursday, our closing night ✨

The most GLAMOROUS episode of MaineLife is coming to NEWS CENTER Maine this Sunday, October 11, at 10:30am! 🤩🎥🤩 Back in August, we played host to the illustrious ERIN OVALLE | MAINE LIFE and Your Maine Concierge as they made a fabulous episode on Castine & Brooksville, in partnership with Visit Maine Maine Tourism Association… and now YOU get to see what the fun was all about ✨

Naturally, when they stopped into our historic Victorian inn, Erin and Vanessa were in for laughs, goofing off, music, and lots of George-made cocktails (and not pictured, licks from lil’ Mister) 😝 Now that the episode is nearly ready to air, we can’t wait to see our community friends featured as well, including Tapley Cove Oyster Company Tinder Hearth Dennett’s at the Wharf Maine Maritime Academy & CastineGolfClub 🍕🦪⚓️

HallowWINE returns this year on Friday, October 30, from 5-8pm 🎃👻😈 Join Matt, George, and Mister, along with their merry band of haunts for their 4th annual costume party—open w**e & b**r bar and hors d’oeuvres will be provided by the inn. Important Restaurant Updates as we near the season’s close 🚨

The last Jazz on the Porch is THIS Tuesday, September 29, from 5-8pm. Scott Cleveland has two piano nights left on Friday, October 2, and Thursday, October 15 🎶

Starting the week of 10/7, the restaurant will be closed to the public on Tuesdays, only open for house guests 👏

The LAST day of the season for the restaurant is Thursday, October 15 🤩
