CDA River RV, Riverfront Campground

CDA River RV, Riverfront Campground CDA River RV, Riverfront Campground is located right off of the I90 freeway, exit 40, in Cataldo Ida Three large fire pits are convenient for nightly bonfires.

The CDA River RV, Riverfront Campground (Formerly known as the Kahnderosa) is located on 8.1 acres of the beautiful Coeur d'Alene River. There is easy access to the water for fishing, kayaking, tubing, or just cooling off. Restroom and shower facilities on the grounds are available to our patrons. Several areas within the park are shaded by large cotton wood and pine trees. A full section of grass

y meadow is ideal for those who enjoy tenting. There are 20 water & electric hook-ups which 4 have sewer and most have pull-thru convenience. There are 22 RV dry camping sites as well as an RV dumpsite on the property. We are the only Campground centrally located next to over 70 miles of paved bike trail called Trail of The Coeur d'Alenes that leads you through the wonderful scenic view of The Silver Valley. Bike, hike, roller blade, or just walk during the summer and enjoy cross country skiing in the winter. Convenient Restaurants are located in Cataldo (Mission Inn) and at Exit #41 (Enaville Resort)

Keep us in mind next time you plan your vacation or a weekend getaway. The Cataldo Mission, (Exit 39), is the oldest standing building in Idaho. Built by Jesuit Priests and members of the Coeur d’Alene Indian Tribe, the structure was completed in 1854. The foot thick walls were built without nails. Venturing down to Exit #50, you’ll find the town Kellogg, where you can treat yourself to an awesome “mountain adventure”, by riding the world’s longest gondola to the top of Silver Mountain. In the summer, The Resort offers outdoor weekend concerts, patio dining, hiking, and other activities. Kellogg also offers museums, alpine shops, and the Dave Dose Trail of whimsical sculptures. Historical Wallace, located at Exit # 62, is also a town full of museums, shops, and mining tours. If you would like to extend your biking experience, The Hiawatha Trail is located at Ext #0. It takes you on an exciting venture of 12 miles downhill thru tunnels and over bridges that just take your breath away. Beautiful scenery that includes waterfalls, small animals and amazing natural plants. Don't miss out, make your reservation today!!! Tents are $20 per tent for two adults and two kids. Dry camping RV sites are $30. Rv sites no sewer are $50 per night. Full RV hook ups $55 per night. Plus tax. Dump station included. Bathrooms and showers included. Heads up

𝗚𝗔𝗟𝗘-𝗟𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟 𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗦 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗢𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗥𝗢𝗪 🌬️🚩

Strong winds are expected across North Idaho and the Inland Northwest on Tuesday, with conditions reaching what would be considered gale-level on the water.

⛵ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 • Sustained winds around 25–45 mph
• Gusts up to 60 mph, with isolated higher gusts possible in exposed or higher terrain
• These wind speeds align with Gale Warning criteria used for marine conditions

🌲 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 • Saturated soils increase the risk of downed trees and power lines
• Power outages are possible
• Travel may be difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles
• Extremely hazardous conditions on lakes and open water

🚩 𝗜𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝘀: if storm flags were flying, this would line up with a 𝗚𝗔𝗟𝗘 𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚.

⚠️ 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘆 Boaters are strongly advised 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 during this wind event. High winds and severe gusts can create rapidly building waves, unpredictable wind shifts, and sudden loss of vessel control. Conditions can deteriorate quickly with little warning, even for experienced operators. Small craft are especially at risk, and rescue operations become more dangerous during high-wind events.

🌳 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘆 Residents with large or mature trees near homes or property should prepare now. Saturated ground combined with strong winds increases the likelihood of trees uprooting or breaking. Take note of where trees could fall and use extra caution around bedrooms, living areas, vehicles, and places where people may be sleeping, as falling trees can cause serious injury or death.

⚡ 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 Strong winds may result in extended power outages. Consider:
• Charging phones and battery packs
• Having flashlights and batteries ready
• Avoiding candles due to fire risk
• Keeping refrigerators and freezers closed to preserve food
• Planning ahead for heat, pets, and anyone who relies on powered medical equipment

Secure loose items, use caution if traveling, and stay alert for updates as conditions change.
