“Sometimes I wonder if people will only realize what Monarch Wildlife Wayside Refuge & Park S.P. stands for while I’m still here — and maybe even more after I’m gone. I’ve poured everything I have into this place because I believe in protecting what’s wild and good. Even when no one shows up like today, Labor Day, which is most days, unfortunately, I keep moving forward. The refuge isn’t just about me; it’s about all of us and the planet we share. I hope you’ll come see it, feel it, and help keep it alive — especially while I’m still Alive here to tell its story.”

🌿 MATERIALS NEEDED FOR TRIBUTE LANE PROJECTS
Monarch Wildlife Wayside Refuge & Park could use a couple of 8' 4×4 treated posts to get the next Tribute Lane project started.
Every donated post, board, or bit of hardware goes directly into building and maintaining the legacy spaces that make this refuge special.

I’ll need more materials as the work continues, but this first pair will get things moving.
If you’d like to donate or lend a hand, just message or comment — your support truly keeps the refuge growing strong.

Even the frogs trust me lol. I have to go out to the ponds every couple days to skim the algae off the surface with this pond skimmer net and the frogs that are in there don't even flinch or try to move out of the way when I'm skimming the algae out. This net sometimes is within an inch of the frog and they just float and chill lol... No problem, just work around me they seem to be saying. Lol
