Ever look at the stars and wonder what's out there? What is it all about? What is my purpose? ...Whoa! I think I got a little deep there. Good thing it’s Deep Space Observation Night at Mammoth Cave National Park on Saturday, March 28! 🔭

🌌Join us at 8 p.m. at the visitor center bus loop for an evening program that explores the development of astronomy and how astronomers discovered nebulae, star clusters, and galaxies. The presentation will include live telescope views of deep space objects, giving visitors a chance to connect the story of discovery with real-time observation of the night sky.

🌠The free program is open to all ages. Remember to bring your chairs and blankets to keep comfortable in the chilly night air.

Even if cloudy skies prevent real time telescope viewing, the ranger-led program will continue in the park’s outdoor amphitheater. All night sky activities are dependent on rain and hazardous weather.
