Sky and I had a great time with our friends at the Grants Pass airport day. I just hope doesn’t fire me and next years she’s telling folks she runs the place and had to let the old man go.

Well we have a few things to talk about. The engine swap project is done and plane should back to work tomorrow. The Gyroplane has been flying a bunch. It looks like I’ve been or soon will be voted onto the EAA ultralight and light sport council. And while this is a very busy flight training year I do have one or two more training slots available. If you’ve been on the fence about starting a flight program this is your chance…. Hit me up soon before these last couple spots are taken for the 2026 season. Grants pass airport days is next weekend. And…. My birthday get together is the following weekend. Oh and Sky wanted me to remind you that the Captain Drake’s pool is now open. lol!

After years of enduring a line of sight impairment (due to the brush that has been allowed to over grow)from the runway 18 run up area it has finally been cleared. Amazing how much better a pilot feels when they can see a potential incursion before it happens.

What a day…… Got up early, had a great flight with my client, who’s just an awesome guy and I really enjoy working with....

What a day…… Got up early, had a great flight with my client, who’s just an awesome guy and I really enjoy working with. Then I got chewed out by our fake airport manager for doing the airport users a huge favor to increase safety around here. Then took a motorcycle ride in the woods with my daughter, and just sat near this little creek to relax for a bit. The down time at the end of the day was very important.
